As part of an in-house marketing team, I have succeeded in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to move campaigns and event planning forward for Amazon and The Walt Disney Company.
Below are some examples of the projects I have undertaken which demonstrate my capabilities as an in-house marketer.
As a marketing manager for Amazon Fuse, I am driving value to global campaigns through project management of creative development, asset management, and translation/localization of branding materials, which support initiatives to increase Amazon Prime Video subscribers and enhance Amazon Fuse partnerships around the world.
The Walt Disney Company
As a cause marketing undergraduate associate, I collaborated in aligning Disney’s core values with campaigns that bring comfort, inspiration, and opportunity to families around the world. The goal was to enhance company priorities and initiatives with causes that Disney most authentically supports.
My experience at a promotional agency allowed me to gain exposure to a wide range of clients across different industries, as well as refine and sharpen both managerial and hands-on marketing experience. This also allowed me to succeed in adapting to a fast-paced environment on a small but dedicated team.
With my varied experience including digital marketing, graphic design, and analytics, the projects below further demonstrate my marketing proficiencies in an agency setting.
I established clear and direct messaging for their digital marketing and social media, and redesigned their website to reflect their print brand identity.
Coalition for Family Harmony
This crisis center in Oxnard, California, has a nonprofit initiative to showcase anonymous testimonies of domestic violence survivors through writing on t-shirts. I developed a virtual clothesline on the center’s website, which helped further their goals of raising awareness of domestic violence on the web.
Life Centers of Ventura County
I collaborated on an annual cause marketing initiative between Life Centers of Ventura County, a pregnancy center in Oxnard, California, and Chico’s, a fashion outlet. Projects included designs for flyers, posters, and volunteer cards.
Besides professional projects, I like to invest time in leadership and development too. In my time serving as a student mentor and team leader, I have enjoyed taking initiative in growth opportunities that have greatly enriched my interpersonal skills, team collaboration, and leadership abilities.
As an online team leader, I coordinate a team of online volunteers by hosting remote team meetings with slide decks via Zoom, updating service attendance using Google Sheets, and recording YouTube Live broadcast analytics.
I also serve as a volunteer web coordinator, where I coordinate the social media content/strategy, email campaigns, and website operations for one of the church’s global community groups in Los Angeles, California.
California Lutheran University
As a peer mentor for both international students and prospective students seeking to study abroad, I’ve volunteered at International Student Orientation week by designing welcome banners, learning the diverse cultures and personalities of mentees, and participating in dynamic intercultural communication and leadership.
I’ve also served as point of contact for students with cultural, academic, and campus inquires, and assisted international students with acclamation to campus life and residential accommodations.
Let's work together
Through in-house marketing work for Disney and agency work for commercial and nonprofit clients, my experience in marketing unites with my passion for storytelling and brand identity.
I continue to pursue refinement and implementation of intentional brand communication through my work, and these proficiencies, I believe, will equip me to uphold and achieve the goals and values of your brand.
So what are you waiting for? Let’s work together!
